It's the season to be jolly
la la la la la la la la la
Nope, it's not Christmas yet but it's my holidays. 2 weeks of rest from school. But it's totally rest when you have to finish 5 projects within 2 weeks. And straight after the 2 weeks break is the common test. How relaxing can our holidays be? Although I went back to school for 2 days already but none of the project seems to be done, not even a little bit. Now I understand what they meant by stressing out at poly. It's like
you can go crazy any moment.
*points at the huge pile of projects on the floor screaming*
First we have Digital Media Design project where we have to create a picture of a web page for Singapore Zoo. Lucky it's done in groups of two and my partner, Suraj, happened to be quite a Photoshop expert. I think we should have no problems doing this particular project.
Then we have Database Fundamentals project where we have to use Microsoft Access to create a DBMS to store some data given. And we have to create Reports, Queries and Switchboard for the DBMS. We
split the job up and so Suraj will be doing the Digital Media Design project while I'll be doing this Database Fundamentals project. I'm kind of stuck somewhere within the project which I have no idea how to solve. I guess I have to figure this out real soon so as to have sufficient time to revise for Common Test.
Up next is the Object Oriented Programming project which I swear I have no idea what the hell it's about. I haven't even flip through the stack of papers my teacher gave us. And the best part is that I totally forgotten about it until I saw it inside my file. I was thinking why I
have such a thick stack of papers inside my file and I almost threw it into the bin. Thank God I remembered someone told me about the
Object Oriented Programming project.
And of course, there is the Communication Skills project. We have to create a slide show presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint to project our ideas of the upcoming Youth Olympics held in Singapore. The question for the project is 'How do we feed the athletes and visitors coming to Singapore for the Games, while making sure there is enough for ourselves?'. We have to create a 8-10 minutes presentation which includes a brief summary of the problem, some solutions for the problem, the pros and cons of the solutions and Bibliography of the sources and acknowledgements. Then we have to present our slides in full formal wear, and I'm pretty sure I'll look like an idiot. AND LIMSIUFANG PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING A SUPER DUPER ULTRA POWDERFUL CAMERA WITH 50 MEGA PIXELS.
Finally there is the Personal Development project. Another presentation to be made, this time it's based on our interest. Weikang suggested GM food as he thinks it's easy. But so far we've done nothing and I'm 100% sure the dateline has passed. Weikang said he handed in something which I have absolutely no knowledge of. But whatever, he's the boss. And luckily we won't have to wear full formal wear again or I will definitely swear at the teacher.
Oh ya. Some random information to share with you guys. I owe M1 $101.54 and Starhub $120. I'm just waiting for them to cut my line. =)
