But Noah was just a boy from a village while Allie was from a rich family.. Allie's mum and dad forbidded them to be together.. They decided to send Allie away to university at New york.. Noah thought that he wasn't good enough for Allie.. So he suggested a break up , but Allie thought it was just a normal quarrel they had.. Allie's parents moved back to their old home the following day after Noah and Allie broke up.. Allie had no choice but to follow her parents.. She couldn't explain to Noah that she was sorry and that she love him.. Noah wrote to Allie everyday for a whole year.. He wrote 365 letters only to be stole and kept away by Allie's mum.. He tried to explain that he regretted what he had done and he wanted Allie back.. But all his letters couldn't be read by Allie.. Allie cried for months and months , She waited for Noah for 7 long years without a single news from him.. She volunteer to be a nurse while in the University and she met Lon who took her heart away.. They went out on dates and somehow Allie found herself falling in love with him.. Lon finally propose to Allie and she agreed.. In the meantime , Noah's dad sold his house to help Noah complete his dream.. Or rather , Allie and Noah's dream.. Noah soon bought an old house by the river which was abandoned years ago.. He renovated it by himself as his dad past away soon after he bought the house.. He saw Allie while on the way to the city , But what he saw devasted him.. He did nothing but renovated the house all alone and all day long.. After the house was completed , he decided to sell it but rejected countless buyers as he didn't really wanted to sell it.. Allie saw Noah's picture with the house on a newspaper by coincidence.. She paid Noah a visit and found out that Noah had written 365 letters to her.. She went back to Noah even though she knows that she shouldn't be doing it.. Lon found out about it immediately and went over to find Allie.. Allie was stuck between Lon and Noah.. But her heart told her to choose Noah and so she went back to Noah.. They spend their lives happily for a few years but Allie lost her memory somehow.. Allie couldn't even remember her own children or grandchildren.. But when Noah finished reading their life story , Allie found herself remembering everthing.. But only just for a few minutes.. Allie was soon back to her old self and started having fits.. Noah was so devasted that he had an heart attack that night.. The first thing he did after leaving the hospital was to visit Allie.. Their love for each other created a miracle , Allie could remember everything that night.. Noah hugged Allie to sleep and they both died peacefully in their sleep..
