Ladies and Gentlemen. This is going to be a wordy post with just one picture. I'll try to shorten this post if not you guys will complain again. Today is the day where Nuffnang gave out 100 pairs of tickets to fellow Nuffnangers who won the Babylon A.D community screening. I went with Yiting to Lido Shaw complex to collect the tickets and watched the show. We reached there at about 5pm and decided to have our dinner there as well. So I ordered something from Long John Silver and she got something from Subway. I've got to admit that I've fallen in love. Yes, fallen in love with Long John Silver. It's absolutely, irresistibly delicious. I've decided to buy Long John Silver when I grow up. Or perhaps when I strike the lottery, which is impossible though. Because I don't buy such stuff. So I guess I have to wait till I grow up to buy Long John Silver. Anyway, we tried to find the booth of Nuffnang but we couldn't find. I was thinking whether I should sue Nuffnang for cheating me when I saw a girl wearing a Nuffnang Polo Tee sitting down on a bench. Oh ya, I thought of suing Long John Silver too. For giving me a large coke even though I didn't ask for it. I don't mind paying the extra charges but it's kind of wasteful as I only drank half of it. But thinking that I might buy Long John Silver someday, I decided to drop the charges. As I was speaking, the girl in Nuffnang Tee sat down and started displaying tickets on the bench. I was expecting a booth of bigger size and not a small bench like that one. We stood a few feet in front of the bench contemplating whether or not we should collect the tickets. And thinking back about it now, I feel that we look like idiots staring at the girl and giggling. Then we window shopped around while waiting for the movie to start. It was free sitting so we can choose our own seats.
The cinema is gigantically huge and the screen is pathetically small. If you chose a seat way back, the screen will look like the size of a PlayStation portable. You guys should go check it out someday. We sat somewhere in the middle and waited for the show to start. The cinema kept playing some songs that sounded like songs from the movie Wall-e. And we thought that maybe they made a mistake and was screening Wall-e instead. Luckily, they screened the correct show. The cinema was packed to the brim, there were all kinds of people in it. You name it, they've got it.
The movie was kind of okay at the starting and the middle. But the ending was kind of sudden. It's like the director decided to call it a day and end the movie. But as expected, there were many action moves in the movie. I dare say Vin Diesel will make many girls fall for him in this movie. With his action packed stunts and swift moves, even the guys might fall for him. Oh, did I tell you all my main motive for watching this movie? Obviously it's Melanie Thierry. I kept saying that she's SOOO hot to Yiting. I'm sure she feels kind of irritated by me now. But I'm going to say again. Melanie Thierry is SOOO hot. Anyway, I enjoyed the movie a lot. Big big thanks to Nuffnang for letting me and Yiting catch the movie first. I love Nuffnang. We took a group photo with fellow Nuffnangers outside the cinema after the show. Really enjoyed my day today.
Then I took a bus with Yiting to somewhere near her house. I complained that I was hungry and so we trek all the way from her house to a MacDonald's situated at somewhere far. It was a 20 minutes journey, but we endured it for the sake of our growling stomachs. I was quite surprised when I saw where the MacDonald's was situated at. The scenery was excellent with plenty of trees around. It's like dining with the nature. First time I saw a fast food restaurant located at such a place. It's something similar to the branch located at West Coast park. But this is much more serene. I heard it's called the Ridout Tea Garden. You guys should go visit it someday. It's a pretty amazing place. Enough said, I think I should go get some rest now. Working days are coming. I'm stressing myself out.
Luckily I have moon cakes to relief stress. Moon cakes are such wonderful stress relieving products. Once you bite into their crunchy crust on the outside and taste the soft red bean/lotus paste inside, you'll tend to forget everything that's so so wrong. My dad bought a box of moon cakes with jelly in it. Sound wonderful? Too bad you all can only read how I eat it and not taste it yourselves. I'm going shopping tomorrow to burn fats. I heard experts say that shopping is a good way to burn the calories within your body. It also burns your wallet up too. Ha ha. Good nights everyone.
