Thursday was the last day of the Orientation camp.. Seriously I doubt that I ever had a camp as meaningful as this Orientation camp.. I learnt about teamwork and the importance of it.. I experienced the fun of working as a team.. And I made some friends , it was really quite out of the blue but I guess the games helped mi to open up alot.. We had Preparatory Maths in the morning which was utterly nonsense to mi.. The lecturer was showing us a software in his laptop and it's like having errors every 5 minutes.. I got bored and started fidgeting around restlessly in my chair.. Finally I had enough and I decided to go for a walk around the school.. Suraj was sitting beside mi at that time and he was getting restless too.. So we went out together to start our adventure trip around the school.. We went from our Lecture Theatre to Koufu ( A canteen quite far from our block ) and from Koufu to MacDonald's.. We went in to have our breakfast as we were hungry and had plenty of time to kill.. I ordered a Hotcakes meal and He ordered 2 Hash browns.. We found seats and sat down to enjoy our meal.. Just as we are about to finish our food , Suraj received a call from Vishal ( Our OGL ) ask where we are.. We made up a story of the toilet being washed and we had to travel further down to the other block to use the Gents.. The Preparatory Maths was suppose to end at 11 and it was only 10.45 so we thought we had plenty of time.. But it ended early at 10.30 and the Lecturer noticed that we were missing for almost 30 minutes.. We got back and Vishal told us that he received a scolding from the Lecturer for letting us have a long toilet break.. Sorry Vishal , but the lesson is really too boring to be true.. Let' hope the other lessons are not as sleep inspiring as the Preparatory Maths.. Then we had early lunch.. I skipped lunch on that day not because I did not brought my medications along but due to the Breakfast I ate at MacDonald's earlier on.. Then we had to practise for our Cheer as the Cheering competition as up next.. We were the 4th class to perform and I can say our Cheer are seriously not as good when compared to the others.. Some of the classes had hand movements and even Break dance moves.. We were only standing there shouting our lungs out brainlessly and not moving ours limbs.. And expected , We did not win a single price for the Cheering competition.. But if we were to submit the Cheer for the judges to see , I dare say our class will definitely win.. Cause our Cheer is totally original but the other classes were copying here and there.. Either that or their cheer only consists of " Oh " and " Ah ".. Another reason why we will win is because the Cheer is wrote by mi.. I'm talented =D Next is the Finale , a 3 hrs performance at the Auditorium.. There were dancing and noise making competition.. The dancing part was nice as I saw quite a few outstanding dancers among the freshmen.. The Noise making was horrible , the reason why I called it Noise making is because it sounded like Noise to mi.. Unwanted sound that is harmful to the human ears.. But I watched through it as my classmates , Roy and Parthiban , was inside the Noise making.. And Parthiban could dance real well , I saw his movements up on stage and thought it was amazing.. Then there was a skit by the OGLs and it was the funniest skit I'll ever seen.. It was a mixture of many movies and shows.. American Idol , One missed call , The Ring , Enchanted , Meet the Spartans , Power Rangers , Heroes and Death Note are some of the many shown.. I couldn't remember the rest as I was laughing my hearts out throughout the whole skit.. The memorable impersonations are Elvis Presley , Jay Chou , William Hung from American Idol , L from Deathnote , Hiro Nakamura from Heroes and Yamamura Sadako from The Ring.. Then there was some footage of the Orientation camp and I saw a picture of myself sleeping in the sports complex during the 1st day.. Soon after was a prize giving ceremony where I slept throughout.. Finally the Finale Performance concluded with a Video of the many OGLs in NYP.. We went out of the Auditorium and took some pictures with the OGLs.. All of had many things we wanted to say to the OGLs but we couldn't find the courage to say then out personally.. So we bought cards and wrote things inside for each of the OGLs.. Then we circled around the OGLs and did a touching Cheer for them.. I'm sure all of them are at a lost for words and that's well I made a stupid joke and tried to soften the touching moment.. We all received 2 packets of Oreos from the OGLs and they said something about the Oreos being small gifts.. But I feel that the care and concern we received from you guys are already the best gifts..
